While hospital treatment necessitates travel, probably to Weston-super-Mare or Bristol, the parish has a medical surgery, a dental surgery, an optometrist and a pharmacy. In addition there are chiropodists, physiotherapists, osteopaths and several practitioners of alternative medicines.

The Wrington Vale Medical Practice Charitable Trust is administered by local trustees for the benefit of the Practice. Funds are derived from gifts, legacies, collections in memory of patients, and occasionally through fundraising when particular needs arise, with these used to provide equipment for the benefit of patients.
